Mandatory Change to 2010 Employment Notices Poster

All employers are required to update their 2010 employment poster by October 8, 2010 due to the California Department of Workers’ Compensation regulations that require all employers within the state to post a new ‘Notice to Employees – Injuries Caused by Work.’  All California employers must post this updated Employment Notices Poster, in a conspicuous location frequented by employees by October 8, 2010.  Failure to post the notice by the deadline can result in a misdemeanor and up to $7,000 in civil penalties.

Free copies of this required update are available at the Chamber.  Members can also purchase a 2010 poster and/or reserve a 2011 poster; call the Chamber at 442-3738
