Through the energy and expertise of its members, the Chamber board has established committees that address the needs of the local business community. Whether it is Government Affairs, which works on evaluating legislation and the efforts of our representatives locally and in Sacramento and Washington; or the members involved with Business & Industry, who evaluate business issues and developments aimed at actions which improve conditions for existing businesses and increase the opportunity for new business relocation; or our Business & Education Committee members working with local schools to assist with meaningful training for students which is consistent with the needs of local businesses, the Chamber is focused and ready to speak with a broad, inclusive, regional voice.
